eMotion Fleet Inc. (“eMotion Fleet”), a company providing one-stop services for commercial EV deployment, has completed integration testing between its “EV Fleet & Energy Management System (FMS/EMS)” and DAIHEN Corporation’s (“DAIHEN”) fast chargers for electric vehicles.
This integration leveraged the international standard communication protocol OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) versions 1.6 and 2.0.1 to test connectivity between DAIHEN’s DC chargers and eMotion Fleet’s FMS/EMS. The test confirmed seamless operation of key features essential for improving operational efficiency, such as remote monitoring and control, real-time data acquisition, and scheduled charging.
DAIHEN is a long-established manufacturer with over 100 years of experience in a wide range of fields including power equipment, welding machines, FA robots, and semiconductor-related devices. In recent years, it has been actively developing advanced EV charging infrastructure. Notably, DAIHEN offers 50kW, 120kW, and 180kW dual-port fast chargers that enable simultaneous charging of two vehicles—ideal for fleet operators seeking efficient and cost-effective EV operation.
eMotion Fleet’s FMS/EMS is a comprehensive solution that enables centralized management of both EVs and internal combustion engine vehicles across all makes and models from a single platform. It provides real-time visibility into vehicle operations, charging status, fuel and electricity consumption, battery health, and CO2 emissions—empowering fleet operators to intuitively assess performance per vehicle.
Through this successful integration, eMotion Fleet’s FMS/EMS can now seamlessly connect with DAIHEN’s fast chargers, offering a flexible and scalable solution to meet diverse fleet and charging infrastructure needs. Going forward, eMotion Fleet will continue to expand its offerings in alignment with on-the-ground requirements, supporting the acceleration of commercial EV adoption and contributing to both decarbonization and economic efficiency.
